More Boy Items

Ok..this post is dedicated to all of you that would like to see more boy items in my shop. Yes, it's still baby (although it would be super cute on a tshirt for a bigger boy), but atleast it's for a boy! I do have this set online already with the words "Got Dirt" rather then the boys name, but this is a new style of onesie and I think it is SO cute with this design!

Busy, Busy, Busy

Another crazy busy week here.. What can I expect with 4 kiddos at home and two at home jobs? I love it all and don't necessarily want any of it to slow down, but would love to "eek" out some extra hours in a day. However I do have to say that I did better in feeding my family this week..I cooked dinner 6 out of 7 days...a new record for me. :)

April is coming up quickly and I'm going to be doing a lot with with Autism. April is Autism Awareness month and I since I have two twin nephews with Autism I have a bit of an interest in the subject. I'm going to be doing several givaways in April that deal with Autism...either an item to promote autism or proceeds going to Autism...maybe both! My sister and I will also be doing a "Walk Now" walk for autism so if you are interested in donating to our team please click here. So just as a little preview...here is a bag that I created last year for Autism awareness and I'll be working on more for this year. If you have any ideas of what you would like to see or hear more about with Autism please let me know and I'll do what I can to share the little bit of knowledge that I have about Autism.

More fun creations!

Here is what I've been working on this past week. I got shirts and bags done for a medical company, a new logo design worked up for a great Etsy shop...Tribal designs, lots and lots of birthday onesies- but atleast this week it was more boy birthday onesies which was a fun change for me. I was also able to start working on Easter items...and probably the funnest of all was a set of wedding shirts. The bride had me make up these super cute shirts for her two ring bearers. The front has the shield design on it, making them official ring bearers and on the back it says "ring security". The bride decided that she wanted a shirt for her dad as well so we did the same type of shield on the front and "Bride Security" on the back- cute huh? For the flower girl and her mom we did tank tops with some crystals...lots of fun! Too bad the pictures of the boys shirts turned out soo crudy- which is why you only see the closeups. :) I guess I still need to work on my little photo studio area where I take pictures. It was a crazy busy week but this coming week should be a little more under control.

Creations from this past week

Here are some creations of mine from this past week and a half...or so... I REALLY need to get better about taking pictures of each item as it goes out. As each item is customized/personalized each is unique and fun. Anyway...this is what I've been up to. I finally got my machine back on Monday afternoon and I've been working like mad since to catch up. I have 3 really cute tutu sets that I'm working up right now for 3 custom orders as well as a set of bags and shirts for a new medical training company. AND I just finished up an order of 262 bags for a gymnastics team in California. Lots to do and little time. ;)

Stitcheroos Embroidery Studio

I know, I know...you have all been dying to see where your items are brought to life. Ok...here it is. :)

I am SO excited! I got shelving up yesterday which allowed me to get rid of LOADS of cardboard boxes. I still have the plastic bins and probably always will, but WOW! I can see the floor and actually see what inventory I have...no more digging through endless "organized" bins to find the right size onesie. That makes my day...and all due to a loving husband that spent most of his Sat. working on this great little project for me.

First View- This is shot from the doorway to my studio...Oh- I just love calling it my "studio", and now feel that I can since it looks so professional! On the left hand side you can see my tutu station with some of the MANY tulle color choices that I have. The rest of the photo shows part of my shelves with my million and one options in sizes and colors of onesies, fabric and other accessories. You can also see my work table where I hoop my embroidery and organize my incoming and outgoing work. And I KNOW you are thinking that it still looks messy, but REALLY...it's organized, there's just a lot of stuff there!
!
2nd View- This view is from the corner in the room that you can't see in the above picture. This shows you my new curtain that I hung for two reasons...one to cover up the closet that doesn't have a door...the closet where my kiddos keep all of their falling apart games. The MAIN reason I wanted the curtain was to better take photos of my work. Hopefully you will start seeing pictures that are FABULOUS!...especially with Christys help from CheapShots photography.

3rd View- This shot was taken from over by my photo drapes. It shows yet another set of shelves that are just jam packed with bags, towels, baby blankets and teddy bears. You can also see my rack of embroidery thread as well as the cart that NORMALLY holds my embroidery machine. It is currently missing in action. My sweatheart of a Dad tried picking up my machine from the shop yesterday and he ended up bringing home the wrong machine. I knew right away it wasn't mine (it was a few years older) and I just about cried! BUT...the good guy that he is will pick up the machine when he goes to SLC for work tomorrow and bring it back around lunch time. Then I'll be one BUSY lady catching up since it's been in the shop for a few days now. So I'll include a machine pic. at another time.

March Contest update

Ok ok ok...I know this isn't the time to change things up...but I found a new way to do my contests. This will make it fair and fun! If you have already entered this month please enter through the new entry "machine" and I'll count it as two entries!
